Decision-making structure and operational guiding principles
Regarding strategy, the main decision-making body of inpEV is the General Assembly, which role is to validate the strategic mid- and long-term guidelines, besides approving the economic and operational balance sheets. It is formed by contributing members and by the president of the Board of Directors, or by the person appointed by him.
The General Assembly also elects the Board of Directors, formed by the inpEV CEO and 13 full members:
- five contributing member representatives (representatives of manufacturing companies elected by the Assembly);
- eight collaborating members (sector entity representatives).
This board is responsible for defining the guidelines to fulfill the Institute’s mission and social objectives, ensure legal compliance, protect all assets, ensure the correct use of resources and promote synergies among the links of the agricultural productive chain. The Board is also responsible for authorizing inpEV to represent its members and approve the agreements and covenants signed by the Institute’s Presidency.
In the executive sphere, administration is carried out by the Executive Board, presided by the CEO. The CEO acts as an independent member, i.e., he is not associated to any member company, and is appointed by the Board of Directors.
inpEV’s Corporate Governance model is in line with the best practices in the market and follows strict audit and control standards.

Operational Structure
The inpEV team is divided among the administrative headquarters in São Paulo, the self-managed operational central stations and the CROs (Regional Operational Coordination Centers).
The Institute’s processes are grouped into:
- basic: disposal management of empty crop protection packages, from their receipt up to their final disposal;
- administrative: financial, human resources and information technology management;
- support – guidelines and support so that the System agents correctly comply with legal norms; education and awareness on the importance and need of protecting health and the environment; technological and projects development.
The CROs are responsible for promoting integration among all agents co-responsible for developing the Campo Limpo System and therefore implement, at a regional level, the Institute’s actions and support the units (outposts or central stations) in cooperation with the crop protection sales channels (distributors and cooperatives).
Activity Philosophy
inpEV is governed by its by-laws which establish the principles of legality, impersonality, morality and equality as the Institute’s activity basis. When managing the Campo Limpo System, the organization goes beyond operational aspects and offers support and guidance to the industry, distribution channels and producers to fulfill the responsibilities defined by legislation; it promotes awareness on the correct disposal of post-consumption crop protection packaging; and develops environmental educational activities for society.
Mission
Contribute towards preserving the environment and the Campo Limpo System by means of self-sustainable management of the final disposal of empty packages of plant health products and by providing services in the solid waste area, with the involvement and integration of all links of the agricultural productive chain.
