InpEV's Board of Directors comprises 13 members: 5 elected among contributing members (associated companies); one member of each collaborating members (associated entities) and the chairman of the Institute. The Board of Directors is in charge of setting guidelines to ensure the accomplishment of the mission and social goals of the Institute, making sure law is complied with, protecting assets, assuring the correct investment of resources, promoting synergy among the links of the agricultural production chain, authorizing the Institute to represent, set its social goals and approve agreements and partnerships signed by the chairman of the Institute.
The members of the Board of Directors (associated companies) are elected for a term of two-years, three of them to be replaced in even years, and two of them in odd years.
