InpEV is in charge of the proper transportation of the containers from Container Receiving Units Centers to central Receiving Units Plants and from disposal areas to final destination (Recycling companies or incinerators) according to the legislation (Law 9.974 / 2000 and Decree 4.074/2002).

InpEV uses the reverse logistics concept, which consists in using the same trucks that transport agrochemical containers - which would return empty - to bring empty containers back (in bulk or compacted) accumulated in the disposal units, like the example:

Freight from manufacturer to Distributor
Freight from manufacturer to Distributor
Freight from manufacturer to Distributor

The successful implementation of reverse logistics has been carried out through a partnership with a leading company in the area of transportation of agrochemicals, Luft Group. Such concept is in line with the principles of the Institute for preservation of environment and human health and represents two advantages:

1. Safety to environment and human health: using a qualified company to accomplish this sort of transportation;
2. Savings: the truck has already paid part of its costs when the containers full of agrochemicals were taken.

Logistics Flow:

* In some States, distributors are licensed by the Environmental Agency to receive packages in their store.
